Green Field School (GFS), a learner-centric, integrated and inclusive School based in "Dehradun" capital town of Uttarakhand, popularly known as "Doon Valley", famous for its world class schools/educational institutes & climate.

GFS was established in the Summer of 1984 with a very clear aims and objectives to offer learner-centric quality education to our future generation and equip them with latest technologies & innovations, which forms an important and integral part of "student/learner's" day at GFS.

Thus, ensuring a healthy, happy, creative, interactive, joyful, "I WANT TO KNOW MORE" learning attitude and experience for the child with minimum burden of school bags, homework and exams pressure etc.

KINDERGARTEN & PRIMARY SECTION

A new approach has been successfully initiated at pre-primary and primary section, including:

Pre-Primary: Alphabets and numbers are taught using phonetics, songs in a compatible environment using interactive multimedia techniques. Children are taken on outings, forest march regularly, which helps them with a better understanding of our nature and expression for life, think independently and innovate fearlessly.

For pre primary classes, special attention is paid to four R's (Reading, Writing, Recogintion & Arithmatic) for their better understanding & comprehension.

AFFILIATION / EDUCATION PATTERN

GFS has been following and adopting CBSE pattern using NCERT books and affiliated with Education Board, Govt. of Uttarakhand (India).
